The #3 Backbore is our middle of the road backbore. It is amazingly versatile. All adjustments for blow, slot, and sound are done much more efficiently with cup and throat combinations.
Throats and Backbores
Throat #1
This throat length is 1/8". It has a more open blow with less resistance and a bit larger slot. This throat produces a big fat sound.
Throat #2
This throat length is 3/16". It has an efficient blow with a bit more resistance and a bit smaller slot. This also brightens up the sound a bit.
Throat #3
This throat length is 1/4". It has a tighter blow with more resistance and a smaller slot. This also adds more sizzle to the sound.
Backbore #3
